> dijitul support provides IT support for UK small businesses, fixing Microsoft 365, email, Wi-Fi, printers, PCs and Macs, mostly by secure remote session. One-off jobs cost £45 an hour + VAT. The Complete plan at £99 a month + VAT includes 3 hours of work and an IT and Microsoft 365 helpdesk for your team. On-site work is quoted upfront.

## Common symptoms

- Outlook keeps asking for your password or will not open
- Emails you send are landing in customers' junk folders
- Wi-Fi drops out in one part of the office or slows to a crawl in the afternoon
- The printer shows offline, or jobs sit stuck in the queue
- A new starter needs a laptop, a mailbox and a Microsoft 365 licence by Monday
- A PC has slowed to a crawl after a Windows update
- Nobody in the business really knows who has admin access to what

## Key facts

- Ad-hoc IT support is £45 an hour + VAT, with a 30-minute minimum then 15-minute blocks
- The Complete plan is £99 a month + VAT and includes 3 hours of work plus an IT and Microsoft 365 helpdesk
- Most fixes are done remotely over an encrypted screen-sharing session you approve
- Any job that genuinely needs someone on site is quoted before work starts

## What dijitul IT support covers

Most small businesses do not need a full-time IT person. They need someone who picks up the phone when Outlook breaks, knows how their Microsoft 365 tenant is set up, and fixes things properly so they stay fixed. That is what dijitul support does.

We look after the everyday technology a small office runs on:

- **Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace**: licences, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, MFA, OneDrive and Teams. See Microsoft 365 support and Google Workspace support.
- **Email**: Outlook profiles, Autodiscover, mail flow, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that decide whether your mail reaches the inbox. See Outlook support, email support and email deliverability.
- **Networks and Wi-Fi**: routers, switches, access points, dead spots and channel congestion. See network support and Wi-Fi support.
- **Devices**: Windows PCs and laptops, Macs and printers. See PC and laptop support, Mac support and printer support.
- **People**: a helpdesk your staff can contact directly. See IT helpdesk.

### Other IT services we cover

dijitul support also helps with:

- Server support and cloud migration, including moving old file servers into SharePoint.
- Data backup and recovery for PCs, servers and Microsoft 365.
- SharePoint and OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
- Home working IT support for hybrid teams.
- Software installation, VoIP phones and broadband and routers.
- IT audits and IT consultancy when you need a plan, not just a fix.
- IT support for home users and sole traders.

Every one of these is billed at the same £45 an hour + VAT, or comes out of the Complete plan's included hours, with bigger projects quoted.

## Most IT support is remote, and that is a good thing

We are honest about this: the large majority of IT problems can be fixed without anyone driving to your office. Microsoft 365 is managed from the admin centre. DNS records are changed at your registrar. A slow PC, a broken Outlook profile or a stuck print spooler can all be fixed over a secure remote session.

With remote IT support you approve the connection, watch what we do, and the session ends when we disconnect. There is no travel time on your bill, so a 20-minute fix is billed as the 30-minute minimum rather than half a day.

Some jobs do need hands on site: cabling a new office, swapping a failed switch, mounting access points or setting up a room full of new laptops. When that is the case, we tell you before any work starts and give you a written quote. We do not have engineers sitting in every town, so we will never pretend otherwise.

## Real problems we fix every week

### Outlook password prompts

Usually a stale cached credential in Windows Credential Manager, a broken Autodiscover record, or a legacy authentication setting left over from before Microsoft retired Basic Authentication in Exchange Online. We find which one and fix it at the source.

### Emails going to junk

Typically a missing or wrong SPF record (often with more than the 10 DNS lookups SPF allows), DKIM never switched on in Microsoft 365, or no DMARC policy. We check your headers and DNS and correct them.

### Wi-Fi that drops out

Often neighbouring networks on overlapping 2.4 GHz channels, a single ISP router trying to cover a long building, or devices stuck on a weak access point. We look at channel use, band steering and placement, and recommend mesh or wired access points if needed.

### Printers that show offline

A changed IP address after a router swap, a corrupted driver, or a crashed Windows Print Spooler service. Most are fixed remotely in under an hour.

## Security is part of IT support, not an extra

According to the UK Government's Cyber Security Breaches Survey 2025, 43% of UK businesses reported a cyber breach or attack in the previous 12 months, and phishing was by far the most common type. That is why every IT job we do includes basic hygiene checks: is MFA switched on for every Microsoft 365 user, are old admin accounts removed, is Windows up to date, is BitLocker on for laptops that leave the office.

For deeper work, see cyber security support, password and MFA setup and device management with Intune.

## Getting started and how a request works

Every request follows the same simple path, whether it is a one-off job or part of a plan:

- **You tell us what is wrong** by phone on 01623 650333, by email at support@dijitul.uk, or through the client portal at clients.dijitul.uk. A screenshot of any error message helps.
- **We log it as a ticket** so nothing gets lost and you can see progress.
- **We diagnose remotely**, either by checking your Microsoft 365 admin centre, DNS or router, or by a screen-sharing session you approve.
- **We fix the cause**, not just the symptom, and explain in plain English what happened.
- **We record what we did** against your account, so the next fix is quicker.

If a job will take longer than expected or needs a site visit, we tell you before going further.

If something is broken now, get in touch on 01623 650333 or support@dijitul.uk and we will book a remote session at £45 an hour + VAT. If you want ongoing cover, we start the Complete plan by documenting your setup: who has which licence, where your DNS is hosted, which devices you own and who holds the admin passwords. That record alone saves hours the next time something goes wrong. Growing teams should also read small business IT support and new starter IT setup.

## FAQs

### How much does IT support cost for a small business?

dijitul charges £45 an hour + VAT for ad-hoc IT support, with a 30-minute minimum then 15-minute blocks. The Complete plan is £99 a month + VAT and includes 3 hours of work, priority support and an IT and Microsoft 365 helpdesk for your team. Projects and on-site work are quoted upfront.

### Do you come on site?

Most IT support is done remotely, which keeps costs down and fixes things faster. When a job genuinely needs someone on site, such as cabling, hardware swaps or installing access points, dijitul tells you upfront and gives you a quote before any work starts.

### Is remote IT support safe?

Yes, when it is done properly. dijitul uses encrypted remote access that you approve each time. You can watch everything on screen and end the session whenever you like. We do not leave unattended access installed unless you ask for it as part of a plan.

### Do I need a contract?

No. You can use dijitul for one-off fixes at £45 an hour + VAT with no commitment. If you prefer predictable costs and a helpdesk for staff, the Complete plan is £99 a month + VAT.

### Can you support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?

Yes. dijitul supports both: licences, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, MFA, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Gmail and Google Drive. We also fix the DNS records, such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC and Autodiscover, that make email work reliably.

### Do you support home users as well as businesses?

Our focus is small businesses, but we do help home users and sole traders at the same £45 an hour + VAT rate. See our IT support for home users page for the kind of jobs we take on.

### Where are you based?

dijitul is based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and has traded since 2006. Because most support is remote, we look after businesses right across the UK. Our office is the only one we have, and we do not claim local engineers elsewhere.
