The East Midlands is our home region: dijitul is based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and has been trading since 2006. The region's economy leans more heavily on making and moving things than most of England. Derby is home to Rolls-Royce's aero engine business and the Alstom train factory at Litchurch Lane, with Toyota's Burnaston car plant just outside the city. Nottingham has Boots, Experian and a large public sector presence. Leicester has a long textiles and food manufacturing history, and Lincolnshire is one of the country's most important farming and food processing areas.

Logistics is the other big story. The M1 corridor, the A50, the A42 and East Midlands Airport, one of the UK's main air cargo hubs, have made the region a magnet for distribution centres.
