You pay from £25 a month + VAT on a plan, or £45 an hour + VAT for ad-hoc fixes. Long Eaton is the largest town in the Erewash borough of Derbyshire, sitting between Nottingham and Derby close to Junction 25 of the M1. It is best known today as a centre for upholstery and furniture manufacturing. A cluster of sofa makers, upholsterers, frame makers and suppliers grew up in the town, and many of them still operate from mills and industrial units around the centre, often selling direct to the public as well as to retailers. That furniture industry inherited buildings and skills from Long Eaton's lace-making past, when large lace mills dominated the townscape. Several of those mills still stand and now hold workshops, showrooms and small businesses. The town is also close to East Midlands Airport and the logistics parks along the M1 and A50, and to the Toton railway sidings, so transport and distribution businesses are common too. The town centre has independent shops, cafés and services, and the town is surrounded by Sawley, Sandiacre and Breaston, each with its own small businesses and trades. The furniture trade gives Long Eaton some specific IT and website needs. Makers selling direct online need product websites or e-commerce stores that handle made-to-order items, fabric choices, deposits and long lead times without confusing customers. Large product images need optimising so pages load quickly on phones. Showrooms need reliable card payments and Wi-Fi, and factories need office PCs, design software, label printers and networks that span old mill buildings with thick walls. Logistics firms need warehouse Wi-Fi and Microsoft 365, and sole traders mainly need a website and email that simply work. Long Eaton is about forty minutes from our Mansfield office via the M1. Most work is done remotely, and any on-site job is quoted upfront. ## Who we help in Long Eaton - Upholstery and furniture makers - Furniture showrooms - Logistics and transport firms - Trades and construction firms - Independent shops and cafés - Accountants and solicitors - Online sellers ## Pricing Support plans from £25 a month + VAT, or £45 an hour + VAT for one-off fixes.
