Supporting England businesses
England's business base is far from uniform, and the IT and website problems we see change with it. A solicitor in Leeds, a fruit grower in Kent, a holiday let operator in Cornwall and an engineering subcontractor in the Black Country all need working email and a website that loads, but the details differ. City firms tend to run Microsoft 365 with shared mailboxes, Teams and SharePoint document libraries. Rural businesses more often fight slow broadband, weak mobile signal and a single ageing router doing everything.
Professional services cluster in London and the big regional cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and Nottingham. These firms care about Conditional Access, MFA on every account, encrypted laptops with BitLocker and clean leaver processes, because client data and regulators demand it. Manufacturing remains strong across the Midlands and the North, where office PCs sit beside shop-floor machines, label printers and older software that cannot simply be upgraded. Tourism and hospitality dominate the Lake District, the Peak District, the coasts and the South West, where a booking form that stops sending emails in July costs real money.
England also has a huge population of sole traders and micro businesses whose website was built years ago by someone who has since moved on. These are the sites we see running out-of-date WordPress plugins, an old PHP version the host is about to retire, or an SSL certificate that quietly expired. Universities in almost every major city feed a steady stream of start-ups that need their first domain, email and Microsoft 365 tenant set up properly from day one.
- City offices: Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and device security
- Manufacturers: mixed old and new PCs, networks, backups and printers
- Rural and tourism businesses: booking sites, Wi-Fi and connectivity workarounds
- Sole traders: website rescue, email deliverability and domain renewals
Because nearly all of this can be fixed over a secure remote session, where you are in England matters far less than what is broken. We work from Mansfield and quote any on-site work before we travel.

How support works for England
Almost everything we do is remote. You call or email, we connect securely to your website, Microsoft 365 tenant or computer, and fix it while you watch. If a job genuinely needs someone on site in England, we tell you upfront and quote it before anyone travels. We're based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and have supported UK businesses since 2006.

Frequently asked questions
Do you support businesses anywhere in England?
Yes. dijitul supports businesses across England remotely from Mansfield. Website fixes, Microsoft 365, email, backups and most device problems are handled over a secure remote session, so a business in Cornwall gets the same service as one in Nottingham. If a job genuinely needs someone on site, we tell you and quote it first.
How much does IT and website support cost for an English small business?
Our plans are £25 a month + VAT (Essential), £50 a month + VAT (Business, with an hour of fixes) and £99 a month + VAT (Complete, with three hours plus IT and Microsoft 365 helpdesk). Without a plan, ad-hoc work is £45 an hour + VAT, with a 30-minute minimum then 15-minute blocks.
We are a rural business with poor broadband. Can you still help remotely?
Usually, yes. Remote support needs only a modest connection. We can also help you get more from what you have: moving email and files to Microsoft 365 so less sits on a local server, fixing Wi-Fi channel congestion, and setting up a 4G or 5G backup router so a line fault does not stop card payments or bookings.
